There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the latest drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery and the estimated jackpot for Tuesday’s drawing will grow to $1.6 billion, the largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.

A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, was sold at a convenience store in Morgan Hill at the southern tip of Silicon Valley and is worth $3,404,526.

There were 14 tickets with five numbers but missing the Mega number sold outside California. They are each worth $1 million, except for one sold in Texas, where the player utilized the Megaplier option which made the ticket worth $2 million, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced.

California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis.

The numbers drawn Friday were 15, 23, 53, 65, 70 and the Mega number was 7.

The estimated jackpot was $1 billion, the second-largest for a U.S. lottery game, behind the $1.586 billion jackpot for the Jan. 13, 2016 Powerball drawing.

The drawing was the 25th since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 302,575,350, according to the California Lottery. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.
