Firefighters extinguished a blaze in a vacant, one-story home in Boyle Heights in just 24 minutes Saturday morning.
Crews responded at 1:55 a.m. to the home on the 2400 block of East Michigan Avenue, and discovered the house well-involved with flames and threatening adjacent structures, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A total of 25 firefighters extinguished the bulk of the flames and knock down was declared at 2:19 a.m., Humphrey said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
