Firefighters extinguished a brush fire near Dodger Stadium in 21 minutes early Saturday.

Crews responded at 11:47 p.m. Friday to 840 Solano Ave. and located a quarter-acre of brush on fire, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

A total of 51 firefighters battled the fire and knock down was declared at 12:08 a.m., Stewart said.

Firefighters remained on scene to mop up and extinguish any hot spots, Stewart said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
