A 16-year-old boy who is insulin-dependent and diabetic and ran away from a group home in Altadena was found safe, authorities said Wednesday.
Xander Munoz was in good condition when he was located, Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau said.
Munoz was returned to the group home, Crowder said.
Munoz went missing about 3 a.m. Tuesday, walking away from the 2900 block of El Nido Drive, Deputy Kimberly Alexander said.
