Some ramps on the San Diego (405) Freeway near Los Angeles International Airport will be closed overnight, beginning Sunday, for ongoing construction work and officials are warning anyone heading to or from the airport to allow extra time and use alternate routes.
The following closures are scheduled to start at 9 p.m., and will continue nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Friday, according to Caltrans:
— The La Tijera Boulevard and La Cienega/Manchester Boulevard on-ramps to northbound I-405 will be closed, and motorists can access northbound I-405 from Century Boulevard or Howard Hughes Parkway;
— One lane of northbound I-405 will be closed between the La Cienega Boulevard/Manchester Boulevard and Howard Hughes Parkway exits;
— The Howard Hughes Parkway off-ramp from northbound I-405 will be closed;
— The La Tijera Boulevard on-ramp to southbound I-405 will be closed, motorists can access southbound I-405 from La Cienega Boulevard.
