Flames that started in the garage of a Valley Glen home spread into multiple rooms of the house Monday before firefighters put them out, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 4:34 a.m. at 13803 West Califa St., Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.

It took 28 firefighters 21 minutes to put out the flames, she said.

“While no injuries were reported, firefighters have not yet located the occupants to determine how many people will be displaced,” Stewart said.
