Flames damaged a converted garage at a residence in San Pedro Tuesday evening.
The Los Angeles Fire Department responded shortly before 8 p.m. to reports of smoke at 300 block of South Walker Avenue and knocked down the flames in about 10 minutes, LAFD spokesperson Margaret Stewart said.
No injuries were reported.
The financial impact of the fire was still being determined, and the cause was under investigation, Stewart said.
