A collision involving at least two big rigs left one of the trucks on its side Wednesday, blocking lanes on the northbound San Gabriel River (605) Freeway just north of the Pomona (60) Freeway in Industry.
The crash took place about 12:55 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
There was no immediate word on any injuries.
The collision briefly left four lanes closed on the northbound 605 Freeway as heavy-duty cranes were brought in to lift the overturned rig back onto its wheels. Two lanes were later reopened, but the other lanes and the transition road from the westbound 60 Freeway to the northbound 605 Freeway remained blocked late Wednesday afternoon.
The road closures were finally cleared at 5:54 p.m., according to the CHP.
