Fire damaged a garage behind a two-story four-plex in the Leimert Park area of South Los Angeles Wednesday morning.
Firefighters responded to the 4200 block of South Leimert Boulevard, south of Stocker Street, at 3:10 a.m. and found the structure engulfed in flames, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A total of 32 firefighters worked to extinguish the fire and knockdown was declared at 3:25 a.m., he said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
