A house fire in Sunland was extinguished Sunday evening by firefighters, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The blaze inside a home at 10360 N. Jardine Ave. was reported at 8:34 p.m., fire department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart said.
Firefighters managed to keep the flames confined to one room, she said.
A total of 26 firefighters were sent to the scene and the fire was extinguished in about 16 minutes, Stewart said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
