It took firefighters 10 minutes to respond and put out flames in a third-story apartment in Harvard Heights Saturday, authorities said.

The fire was reported at 1:43 p.m. at 1408 S. Andrews Pl., Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange said.

The apartment was on the top floor of a garden-style building, Prange said. Contents in the apartment were on fire and were quickly located and the flames were put out, he said.

No injuries were reported.
