Authorities Tuesday identified a 60-year-old pedestrian who was killed last weekend on the San Diego (405) Freeway in the West Los Angeles area.
Brett Miku, who was homeless, was struck by a vehicle on the northbound 405 at Venice Boulevard about 7:35 p.m. Sunday, according to the coroner’s office. Why he was on the freeway was unclear.
The driver remained at the scene, the California Highway Patrol reported.
