The majority of Los Angeles Department of Water and Power customers who lost power due to the high winds that swept across the city were back online Monday evening.

At its height, 15,500 DWP customers were without power. As of 10 p.m., less than 2,000 customers remained offline, according to Albert Rodriguez of the DWP.

The largest remaining outages were in Eagle Rock with 1,130 customers impacted, Hollywood with 250 customers and another 110 in El Sereno, Rodriguez said.

Rodriguez said there were reports of smaller outages across the city, but each affected less than 100 customers.

It was unclear when those remaining customers would have their service restored.
