The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle, wrong-way crash that occurred Sunday morning on the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in South Los Angeles, which involved a Honda and pickup truck.
The crash occurred a little after 2 a.m. on the eastbound freeway, at South Vermont Avenue, the CHP reported.
It was not immediately known whether anyone was injured.
With details still sketchy, witnesses said a sedan — with its high beams on — was going westbound in the eastbound lanes, followed by a vehicle driving westbound in the eastbound side at 2:07 a.m.
The Honda and pickup truck crashed, according the CHP, at 2:09 a.m.
All lanes of the eastbound freeway were shut down at 2:20 a.m., with all lanes eventually being reopened at 3:17 a.m.
