A two-vehicle crash on the eastbound Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway in Granada Hills sent three people to a hospital Thursday evening, one of whom was briefly trapped.

The crash occurred about 8:10 p.m. on the freeway east of Balboa Boulevard, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Three people were taken to a hospital in unknown condition, Humphrey said.

The Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway were closed as authorities cleared collision debris, according to the California Highway Patrol and Humphrey.
