Five people were injured Saturday, two critically, in a two-vehicle crash in the Florence area of Los Angeles, authorities said.
It was reported at 8:23 p.m. at 1028 East 61st St., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
A man and a woman, both 25 years old, were taken to hospitals in critical condition, Stewart said.
Three additional patients were evaluated at the scene for minor injuries and not expected to require transport to hospitals, she said.
