Los Angeles Animal Services is teaming with the North Shore Animal League Saturday and Sunday in what organizers said will be the world’s largest mobile pet adoption event.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the following six locations:
— East Valley Center, 14409 Vanowen St. in Van Nuys;
— Harbor Center, 957 N. Gaffey St. in San Pedro;
— North Central Center, 3201 Lacy St. in Los Angeles;
— Chesterfield Square, 1850 W. 60th St. in Los Angeles; West Los Angeles Center, 11361 W. Pico Blvd., in Los Angeles and West Valley Center, 20655 Plummer St. in Chatsworth.
Highlights at all locations include waived adoption fees all cats and kittens, $50 off all dog and puppy adoptions, and giveaways for adopters from Purina.
Organizers also said 2020 marks the 20th Anniversary of North Shore Animal League America’s Tour For Life, in which the adoption organizer will travel throughout the United States in customized “shelters on wheels” units helping shelter partners and rescue groups in 53 cities.
