A crash involving two pool-service trucks on the southbound Hollywood (170) Freeway in Burbank caused some chemicals to spill, but no major injuries were reproted.
The crash occurred at 7 a.m. on the freeway at Burbank Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol. The spill of pool chemicals prompted a response from a hazardous-materials team.
Authorities said two people suffered minor injuries in the collision, but neither required a trip to a hospital. Another man who was exposed to the spilled chemicals was also treated at the scene but did not require hospitalization, officials said.
Multiple lanes of the freeway were closed for more than two hours while crews worked to clean the spill. There was no immediate word on what caused the crash.
