A stubborn second-alarm fire damaged a single-story, metal-clad commercial building in South Gate Saturday.
Firefighters dispatched at 6:28 a.m. to the 11000 block of Vulcan Street had the blaze out at 8:13 a.m., according to a Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
