A fire in a 60-year-old Pacoima home was extinguished in under 25 minutes Tuesday evening and no injuries were reported.

Thirty-three firefighters were sent to the 11800 block of Fellows Avenue, near Corcoran Street, about 6 p.m., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

“Using transitional attack and defensive operations to quickly gain an offensive posture,” firefighters fully extinguished the flames, largely in the one-story home’s garage and adjacent areas, Humphrey said.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
