A vehicle overturned on the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway in Los Angeles Friday morning, then was struck by another vehicle, but there were no immediate reports of injuries.
The vehicle overturned in the middle lanes of the freeway near Century Boulevard about 4 a.m. and its undercarriage was facing oncoming traffic and was difficult to see by drivers of approaching vehicles, the California Highway Patrol said.
About five minutes later, a vehicle crashed into the overturned vehicle, spreading debris across lanes of the freeway and the wreckage blocked the carpool lane, the CHP said.
The driver of the overturned vehicle was able to get out prior to the second accident and was standing on the right hand side of the freeway, the CHP said.
