Authorities Thursday circulated a photo of an 87-year-old man with dementia who went missing in Compton.
James Henley was last seen Wednesday about 8 p.m. in the 3200 block of East Bales Street, near South Harris Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He was wearing a black suit jacket and blue jeans.
Henley is described as black, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 140 pounds, with balding gray hair and brown eyes, the sheriff’s department reported.
Authorities encouraged anyone with information about Henley’s whereabouts to contact the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Those wishing to report anonymously can call 800-222-TIPS.
