An outdoor rubbish fire broke out Tuesday afternoon at a recycling yard in Boyle Heights, but nobody was hurt.
It took just over an hour for 32 firefighters to extinguish the blaze, which was reported in the 1500 block of South Evergreen Avenue about 1 p.m., according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was being investigated.
