An estimated 170 customers in North Shore lost power Monday amid triple digit temperatures, according to the Imperial Irrigation District.
Power was expected to be restored about 8 p.m., according to the utility.
The outage, the result of “equipment issues,” was reported at 12:20 p.m., said Robert Schettler, an IID spokesman.
The utility said in a Twitter post at 4:09 p.m. that “troubleshooters” were on site working to address the problem.
