A 36-year-old woman who went missing Thursday and was the subject of a Silver Alert in Los Angeles County has been found.
Vivian Vanessa Venegas, who suffers from a medical condition and may become disoriented, had last seen about 2:30 p.m. near Wedgewood Street and Encinita Avenue, a few blocks from Las Tunas Drive, in Temple City, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
About 11 p.m., the CHP announced Venegas had been located, but details of when and where she was found were not disclosed.
The Silver Alert program was established to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled and cognitively impaired individuals, according to the CHP.
