A fire burned for about 15 minutes Friday evening in a room at a motel near Los Angeles International Airport before being knocked down.
The fire broke out about 8 p.m. in the 5700 block of Manchester Avenue, between Airport and Aviation boulevards, in Westchester, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Thirty firefighters put out the fire by 8:15 p.m., Prange said.
The cause of the fire was being investigated.
