Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is scheduled to speak Thursday evening at a virtual fundraiser benefiting former Vice President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign.
The event is billed by the campaign as a “Virtual Conversation on Clean Energy with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti.” Tickets are priced at $50, $100, $250, $500, $1,000 and $2,800, the presidential campaign donation limit for an individual, according to an invitation obtained by City News Service.
A contributor who donated $2,800 to a presidential primary campaign may give another $2,800 to the candidate’s general election campaign.
Garcetti is a co-chair of the Biden campaign and among the four co-chairs of its Vice Presidential Selection Committee.
