Several vehicles were involved in a freeway crash early Sunday in El Monte, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It happened at 2:15 a.m. along the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway at Peck Road, according to Patrick Kimball, of the CHP’s Traffic Management Center.
There were at least four vehicles involved in the pile-up, and three tow trucks were called to the scene, he said.
At 2:40 a.m. the CHP issued a two-lane SigAlert for at least 30 minutes while the investigation continues.
