An eight-acre grass fire broke out Tuesday in the Sepulveda Basin, but fire crews extinguished it without injuries.
The fire was reported at 3:35 p.m. in the 6200 block of North Woodley Avenue, near Burbank Boulevard, in the Sepulveda Basin Recreation Area, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Eighteen firefighters extinguished the blaze in about 26 minutes, Prange said.
The cause of the fire was not released.
