Firefighters Sunday knocked down a detached garage fire behind a home in Sherman Oaks.
Firefighters dispatched at 12:45 p.m. to 4614 N. Nobel Ave. had the fire out within nine minutes of their arrival, said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were reported and a cause of the fire was under investigation.
