Firefighters Quickly Douse Fire Inside South L.A. Commercial Building

Firefighters Sunday quickly put out a contents-only fire inside a single-story commercial building in South Los Angeles.

Firefighters were dispatched at 5:54 a.m. to 8228 S. Western Ave., said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

”The first responding resources quickly located and extinguished the fire with no extensive damage through the structure,” Stewart said. ”No injuries were reported.”
