A 30-year-old woman, who may be suicidal, went missing in Lancaster Thursday.
Jannet Contreras was last seen about 2:30 p.m. near 10th Street West and West Avenue H8, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. She was wearing a coral long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and white shoes.
Contreras is described as Hispanic, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes, red hair and a tattoo of stars on her neck, the department reported.
Authorities encouraged anyone with information about Contreras’ whereabouts to contact the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500. Those wishing to report anonymously can call 800-222-TIPS.
