A 77-year-old man who disappeared Monday morning in the La Puente area, prompting authorities to issue a so-called Silver Alert, was found hours later.
Authorities had been concerned because Jose Cisneros suffers from a medical condition that may cause him to become disoriented.
Cisneros went missing about 8:30 a.m. in the vicinity of Vineland Avenue at Moccasin Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Cisneros was located and the Silver Alert was deactivated, the CHP reported about 3:50 p.m.
