A fire broke out Wednesday at a Salvation Army facility in Pasadena.
The fire was reported about 12:15 p.m. at Del Mar Boulevard and Fair Oaks Avenue, said city spokeswoman Lisa Derderian.
Personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were assisting in the firefighting effort, which was continuing into the early afternoon.
A large amount of donated materials were at the location, Derderian said.
