Firefighters extinguished a shed fire Sunday near garden-style apartments in North Hills, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The blaze inside an outbuilding with solar panels at 15241 Rayen St. was reported at 4:38 p.m., said fire department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
Firefighters kept the flames from burning any of the two-story apartments nearby, Prange said.
The department dispatched 24 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames in 16 minutes, he said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation.
