A small brush fire in the Elysian Park area was extinguished in 20 minutes Thursday evening without causing any injuries or property damage.
The fire started at 8:50 p.m. near the intersection of North Broadway and Solano Avenue, according to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Twenty-two firefighters were sent to the scene, Prange said.
