Two people died Thursday when their vehicle rear-ended a big rig in Wilmington.
The pair died at the scene of the crash that occurred about 10:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of East Pacific Coast Highway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Information was not immediately available on the identities of the fatally injured people. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
