A seven-acre brush fire broke out Tuesday in the Stevenson Ranch area of Los Angeles County, but firefighters stopped its forward progress.
Firefighters were sent to The Old Road and Calgrove Boulevard at about 1:20 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Aircraft also were sent to the scene, and personnel from the Los Angeles city Fire Department were sent to assist.
No structures were threatened.
Officials said resources would be on scene for about two hours to mop up.
