Firefighters knocked down a fire that began outdoors and moved into a vacant, boarded-up two-story house in Koreatown.

The blaze, which burned a home at 728 S. Manhattan Place, was reported at 5:44 p.m., said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.

The department dispatched 30 firefighters and extinguished the flames in 11 minutes, Prange said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation, he said.
