Firefighters Saturday held a Sun Valley brushfire to about four acres.

The fire was reported at 6:39 p.m. at 8501 N. Arleta Ave., said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.

It was reported at one to two acres surrounded by city streets, Prange said.

It took firefighters 51 minutes to clear a line of vegetation around the fire and contain it to three to four acres, he said.

No structures were threatened and no injuries were reported, Prange said.
