It took 29 firefighters about 45 minutes Saturday to put out a half-acre brushfire in the Lake View Terrace area with a line of cleared vegetation.
The fire was reported at 7:49 p.m. near Foothill Boulevard and the Foothill (210) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.
There were no structures threatened and there was no wind, he said.
At 8:34 p.m., the fire was out and contained, Prange said. No injuries were reported.
