Firefighters Saturday battled a three-acre brushfire across from the Hansen Dam Recreation Area in Lake View Terrace.
It was reported at 4:26 p.m. at 11499 W. Osborne St., said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.
The vegetation was light to medium, Prange said.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department and Angeles National Forest firefighters assisted, he said. At 5:40 p.m. the fire was fully surrounded by a line of cleared vegetation and firefighters planned to remain on the scene to improve the fire line and put out hot spots, Prange said.
