A fire damaged a commercial building under construction in La Puente Monday, and a firefighter suffered a minor injury.
The fire was reported about 7:30 a.m. in the 13000 block of East Temple Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters extinguished the flames in the three-story structure in about 40 minutes, the fire department reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
