A one-acre brush fire broke out in the Woodland Hills area late Wednesday morning.
The fire was reported at 11:22 a.m. near the 4400 block of North Winnetka Avenue, and was burning “up slope” in light winds, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No structures were threatened.
Crews from the Los Angeles County Fire Department were sent to assist in the firefighting effort.
