A fire broke out Thursday in a commercial building in Lancaster.
The blaze was reported about 11:20 a.m. in the 700 block of West Avenue I, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The firefighting effort was continuing more than an hour afterward, the fire department reported. No injuries were immediately reported.
