A fire damaged a one-story house Thursday in the Winnetka area of Los Angeles.
The blaze was reported in the 7900 block of North Limerick Avenue about 10:40 a.m. and was extinguished in 20 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Firefighters rescued the sole occupant of the residence, and paramedics were medically evaluating the person at the scene, the LAFD reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
