Flames damaged a Lake Los Angeles home Saturday amid scorching temperatures and elevated fire danger.
The fire was reported at 1:58 p.m. at 16437 Coolwater Ave., according to Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Imy McBride.
First arriving firefighters called for four additional engines and a helicopter because the temperature in the area was 104 degrees.
Firefighters had the flames out by 2:36 p.m., McBride said. No injuries were reported.
