Firefighters doused a pickup truck that caught fire following a collision along the North Peace Valley Road Sunday, just south of Quail Lake Road in Ridge Route.
The truck collided with a tractor-trailer at 3:15 a.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 5, causing the pickup to catch fire, county officials said.
Firefighters put out the truck fire by 3:40 a.m., said Miguel Ornelas, a supervising fire dispatcher, with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
No one required hospitalization, Ornelas said, adding the last fire crew cleared the scene at 4:09 a.m.
California Highway Patrol officers were investigating a report the 60,000 pound transport vehicle was loaded with strollers, said Officer M. Marroquin of the Traffic Management Center.
A SIG Alert was issued and extended until 8 a.m.
