Firefighters have knocked down a greater alarm fire inside an apartment building in Koreatown, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The blaze inside the building at 2929 W. Eighth St. was reported at 2:32 p.m., fire department spokesman Nicholas Prange said.
The department sent 31 firefighters to the scene and extinguished the flames in about 15 minutes, Prange said.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
