Firefighters contained a roughly one-acre brush fire Sunday near a power pole — with wires down — in Encino.
The 64 firefighters dispatched at 6:15 a.m. to the 3800 block of North Alonzo Avenue had the fire contained at 7:33 a.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
